D3Clean Project

BRinova proposes the development of an ecological, innovative and efficient solution to prevent the spread of SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19). This virus can be blocked through an innovative and pioneering action which combines the action of natural cationic and phytotherapeutics polymers, derived from Mediterranean aromatic plants, with previously proven antimicrobial and antiviral action. The result is a family of products developed with high disinfectant capacity, for application on potentially contaminated surfaces that can constitute a vehicle for the transmission of COVID-19 or other viruses. The products developed strengthen the national production capacity of an innovative, efficient and accessible product, without the need for alcohol in its constitution. These new generation disinfectants, with an unprecedented constitution, efficient and based on plant extracts, will be a radical advance in the ecological and sustainable development of effective solutions to control the current pandemic situation.

Thus, it is concluded that the project presented here contributes to combating the spread of COVID-19 disease.

Naquibio Project

NAQUIBIO project aims to create a veterinary dressing based on a biopolymer that enhances healing and contributes to the improvement of animal health. Through the creation of this dressing, it is expected that the number of cases of infection development, and consequently the use of antibiotics in animals, will decrease and significantly contribute to the safeguarding of their welfare.

Bioshell Project

BIOSHELL project aims to solve economic, environmental and health problems synergistically. The project thus concentrates on the use of crustacean preparation waste for the development of functional, innovative and efficient hydro-geals. The result is a suitable solution to facilitate sustainable wastewater purification technologies on heavy metal retention, antibiotic elimination, EP and ARGs removal.
